President Barack Obama has nominated a Miami plaintiff’s lawyer to be the U.S. ambassador to Singapore.
Kirk Wagar specializes in disability and Employee Retirement Income Security Act claims. According to his firm’s website, Wagar was one of the first law firms in Florida to handle ERISA claims on contingency fee basis. He also claims to be one of the first lawyers in the country to bring disability cases over chronic fatigue immune deficiency and fibromyalgia.
