Lewis Ho joins Philadelphia-based Dechert from British firm

, where he was a partner in the Beijing office.
He focuses particularly on transactions in the life sciences industry, including technology transfers, outsourcing, and licensing deals. His clients have included international pharmaceutical giants GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Bayer and Merck & Co. Ho also advises on intellectual property issues, including patent litigation.
In addition to the life sciences sector, he has advised clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications industry.
Ho joined Simmons & Simmons as a Shanghai-based consultant from the former Lovells in 2007. He became a partner at Simmons & Simmons in 2010.
With the addition of Ho, Dechert’s Hong Kong team now numbers 15 lawyers, seven of whom are partners. The firm has over 800 lawyers worldwide.
