Clifford Chance has acted for Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund in its $2.3 billion investment in Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd.
Temasek Holdings Pte. Ltd. is buying Hong Kong-listed shares in ICBC from The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. The acquisition will give Temasek a 5.3-percent interest in ICBC’s Hong Kong-listed shares, and a 1.3-percent interest in the bank’s overall equity.
