Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Calgary-based McCarthy Tétrault are advising Canadian natural resources company Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. on a $600 million Hong Kong initial public offering. The company is set to list next month.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Sunshine IPO will be the world’s second-largest IPO so far this year, after the planned $1.37 billion Shanghai listing of China Communications Construction Co. Ltd.
