The son of late Taiwanese billionaire Wang Yung-ching, founder of the Formosa Plastics Group business empire, has filed a lawsuit in a Hong Kong court seeking assets worth $4 billion he claims were siphoned from his father’s estate.
Wang died in his sleep in 2008 aged 91, but did not leave a will to govern the handling of his $17.6 billion fortune, which he amassed through Formosa’s plastics businesses in Taiwan and the U.S.
