Stephenson Harwood has boosted its Greater China practice with two new partner hires. Former Bird & Bird partner Matthew Wong has joined Stephenson Harwood in Hong Kong, while Chun Fai Lui, previously a special counsel with Baker & McKenzie, has joined the U.K. firm as a partner in Shanghai.
Qualified in Hong Kong, England, and Australia, Wong is a corporate partner specializing in financings and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Bird & Bird in 2008, Wong was a partner at U.S. firm K&L Gates.
