Hogan Lovells has hired intellectual property partner WILLIAM “SKIP” FISHER, who moves over from the Seattle office of Perkins Coie, to join the firm’s office in Shanghai. Fisher, who is fluent in Mandarin, advises clients on managing intellectual property assets in China, including how to acquire, protect, and enforce patent and other IP rights.

In Los Angeles, Winston & Strawn has lost DAVID STERN to Hughes Hubbard & Reed, which he joins as partner. Stern’s practice covers a range of complex commercial litigation matters, including class action, antitrust, intellectual property, employment, and media and entertainment cases.
