A $965 million housing project for Australia’s Department of Defence has provided work for five of the country’s law firms.

Advised by Allens Arthur Robinson, Melbourne-based infrastructure developer Plenary Group has closed a $965 million public-private partnership with the department to build more than 3,000 residential units for military staff and their families over 30 years. The firm’s team on the deal includes partners James Darcy, Emma Warren and Anthony Arrow in Melbourne; and Leighton O’Brien in Sydney.
