Freehills, Clayton Utz, and Allens Arthur Robinson have landed lead roles on a $1.97 billion project to build a hospital in Adelaide, South Australia.

The Royal Adelaide Hospital project is conducted as a public-private partnership (PPP), a municipal financing model that is common in Australia and Europe. Under the 35-year deal, a consortium of developers will finance, design, build and operate the hospital. The deal reached financial close this week and is Southern Australia’s largest ever PPP.
