Intel v. NVIDIA
After a heated two-year legal battle, on January 10 Intel Corporation agreed to pay graphics chip maker NVIDIA Corporation $1.5 billion for a cross-patent licensing deal. The settlement also ends the litigation between the companies. The agreement is among the largest cross-licensing deals ever made in Silicon Valley.
