Ballard Spahr announced this week that bank regulatory lawyer KEITH FISHER is joining the firm as a partner in Washington, D.C., Am Law Daily sibling publication The National Journal reported. Fisher, who most recently worked as a consultant on business, ethics, and regulatory projects, also previously practiced at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo. He will concentrate on financial regulatory issues, M&A, and appellate work related to Supreme Court practice.

Debevoise & Plimpton is welcoming NIPING WU as international counsel in the firm’s Shanghai office, where she will take a lead role on transactional matters, specifically acting for private equity firms. Wu was formerly with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Beijing.
