Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, coming off a record financial year in revenue and profits, is planning to launch an office in Brussels, hiring Simpson Thacher & Bartlett antitrust partner Ross Ferguson to begin the build, sources confirmed Wednesday.

“The increasing importance of cross-border M&A in Europe makes having a strong presence in Brussels a strategic imperative as we work with the highest-caliber clients on their most consequential matters,” Paul Weiss Chair Brad Karp said in an email to Law.com.
