What makes a rainmaker? Of the five types of business development traits seen among partners, one stands above the rest as the strongest rainmaker type. Unfortunately for law firms, other types were more prevalent in the legal profession, a study found.

The results of the study, the report authors say, have the potential to shift how firms coach, enable, measure and incentivize partners’ business development efforts.
