Davis Polk & Wardwell chair Neil Barr said the law firm has rescinded job offers to three law students because of their involvement in student organizations at Columbia University and Harvard College and the positions those organizations have taken during the conflict between Israel and Hamas, according to a Tuesday email obtained by Law.com.

The three students were in leadership positions within the Harvard and Columbia organizations, according to the email, which didn’t identify the students.
