McDermott Will & Emery has added three new IP attorneys to its intellectual property practice. Former Hogan Lovells IP partners Simon Roberts and Jason Leonard will be resident in New York, while former Jones Day IP partner Maxwell Fox will reside in Japan.

“McDermott continues to make incredible strides toward advancing our remarkable IP practice into an industry powerhouse,” William Gaede, chair of the firm’s global IP practice, said in a statement. “Simon and Jason bring significant life sciences patent litigation strength to our bench in New York, and Mac’s experience with Japanese technology and life science companies is unmatched.”
