Goodwin Procter seems to have a golden touch the last few years. Its primary practice areas, including transactions and life sciences, are booming. So, if the firm is giving weight to a strong comeback for real estate, perhaps it would behoove others to pay attention. 

The firm announced today that it is adding former DLA Piper real estate partner Jarrid King to its roster in New York and former Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld real estate co-leader David Phelps to its Los Angeles office.
