Former Dechert life sciences co-chair David Schulman has joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Washington, D.C., as Big Law firms continue to bulk up their life sciences practice groups.

Schulman mostly represents biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, and clients have included the Celgene Corp., Ferring Pharmaceuticals biotech company BioAtla. He spent seven years practicing in London before moving to Washington, D.C.
