Norton Rose Fulbright has elected Houston partner Gerry Pecht to be the firm’s next global chief executive, the firm announced on Monday.

Pecht will take over from London-based Peter Martyr on January 1, 2021. He is the first U.S. partner to lead the global firm since the U.K.’s Norton Rose merged with Houston-based Fulbright & Jaworski in 2013.
