Linklaters is eyeing growth opportunities in the U.S. outside New York and Washington D.C., as the Magic Circle firms continue to contend with the ever pressing issue of competition from the states.

Linklaters U.S. head Tom Shropshire told Legal Week the firm is looking closely at other areas of the U.S.’s heavily regionalized economy including the West Coast.
