Clyde & Co has hired veteran intellectual property lawyer Elliot Papageorgiou as a partner in Shanghai.

Papageorgiou was most recently a partner at IP specialist firm Rouse, where he had been a partner for 13 years. He specializes in patent and trademark litigation and enforcement cases in China and also advises on IP strategies and portfolio management. He joins with four additional Chinese-licensed lawyers, who will be part of the British firm’s Chinese joint venture Clyde & Co Westlink.
