Dentons, a firm poised to become the world’s largest by attorney head count once it finalizes a merger with China’s Dacheng later this year, has expanded again by adding 21 lawyers, seven of them partners, for a new office in Milan.

The Am Law Daily reported last week on Dentons’ hire of FEDERICO SUTTI, DLA Piper’s former managing director for Europe and Africa, as a partner in Milan, along with corporate partner PIER FRANCESCO FAGGIANO, energy partner MATTEO FALCIONE, real estate partner FEDERICO VANETTI and senior counsel-turned-partner MARIA SOLE INSINGA, all of whom also joined the firm from DLA Piper.
