Less than a year after agreeing to absorb the bulk of Bingham McCutchen, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has agreed to sublease space in Boston that it agreed to move into last year, before its combination with the former was finalized in January.

Morgan Lewis first opened a Boston office in 2009 after raiding Bingham McCutchen for 11 banking and leverage finance lawyers, a move that led Morgan Lewis to set up shop at the State Street Bank Building, an office tower sold by private equity firm The Blackstone Group in late 2013.
