More than a dozen lawyers from Las Vegas mainstay Gordon Silver are leaving to start their own firm, including name partner Gerald Gordon and bankruptcy partner Gregory Garman. The group, which includes eight shareholders and at least five associates, will be called Garmen Turner Gordon and focus on business and restructuring.

“My reason is complex, but the most fundamental is that I started building this firm when there were three or four of us. We built it up to an excess of 65 with five offices,” Gordon said in a phone interview Thursday, adding, “We came to a realization that we were much happier, productive and satisfied in a smaller platform.”
