Our latest roundup of M&A deals worth $1 billion or more includes Am Law firms advising on Harris Corp.’s $4.75 billion buy of defense contractor Exelis Inc.; Rite Aid’s $2 billion acquisition of pharmacy benefits manager Envision Pharmaceutical Services; and Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.’s $1.76 billion acquisition of five hotel properties from a group of sellers, including Blackstone Group LP.

In terms of deal volume and transaction size, Latham & Watkins took the lead on both fronts, advising on three deals worth $1 billion or more, for a total value of $7.25 billion.
