Mid-sized Chinese firms East Associates and Concord & Partners have merged as consolidation of the country’s legal market continues.

The merger creates a 210-lawyer firm — known as East & Concord Partners — with four offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuhan. The new 59-partner firm will be under the leadership of managing partner Li Dajin, former managing partner of East Associates, and an 11-partner executive committee.
