A narrowed focus on transactional practice groups has been blamed for mounting departures at Simmons & Simmons’ Dutch offices, which have seen six lawyers leave the firm in recent months.

The London firm’s Dutch offices have been attempting to prioritize the finance department in Amsterdam and the corporate offering in Rotterdam. The focus is believed to have contributed to a number of recent departures.
