Average starting salaries for attorneys are expected to rise 5.4 percent in 2008, according to Robert Half Legal.
First-year associates at firms with 75 attorneys or more will see the biggest gain of 9.1 percent, to the range of $111,750 to $137,000 annually, the staffing company predicts.
