A Japanese court has ordered the government to pay compensation to a woman who argued that her husband died from overwork at Toyota Motor Corp., officials said. The widow filed the suit after a local Labor Ministry office rejected her applications for worker's compensation benefits based on the death of her 30-year-old husband, said a lawyer for the plaintiff. The husband had been working more than 80 hours of overtime per month for at least six months before he collapsed at work and died, the lawyer said.
