Klausner Technologies Inc. said Oct. 11 it has settled a patent-infringement lawsuit with Internet phone company Vonage Holdings Corp. and granted the Internet-based telephone provider a patent license related to voicemail services. Klausner sued Vonage in July, alleging patent infringement and seeking damages and royalties of $180 million. The settlement is the second this week for Vonage, which Oct. 8 agreed to resolve claims in a dispute with Sprint Nextel Corp. for $80 million.

Klausner and Vonage did not disclose the terms of the licensing agreement. Vonage spokesman Charlie Sahner described it as “not material” but provided no specifics.
