The answer is yes, no, maybe or maybe later, depending on who is asked. In general, legal training helps develop important skills for negotiating, isolating issues and making decisions. But that sharp set of legal skills can cut both ways. One expert warns that any of those skills, "if carried to an extreme, would be less desirable as a manager."
