Rolando Garcia has been named head of the West Palm Beach, Fla., office of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where he will manage a burgeoning workload of public corruption cases and anti-gang prosecutions.

Garcia, formerly chief of the economic crimes division in West Palm, is taking over for Andrew Lourie, who recently returned to the Justice Department in Washington to become chief of staff for Alice Fisher, an assistant attorney general who heads the department’s criminal division.
