Shearman & Sterling’s London office is losing two senior lawyers with the relocation of capital markets partner David Beveridge to New York and the departure of executive compensation counsel Paula Holland to U.S. rival Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.

Beveridge, who is head of the firm’s capital markets America group, is widely credited with significantly boosting the profile of the firm’s U.S. capital markets practice in Europe. He spent nearly decade in London.
