So does all that make DailyKos.com in violation of the Federal Election Campaign Act for failing to register as a political committee and failing to report contributions and expenditures? The Federal Election Commission doesn't think so. In a six-page analysis, the commission said it found no reason to believe that the site was in violation of any campaign finance laws.
