The Georgia chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel has expanded its annual labor and employment update CLE program, set for Sept. 11, to run for 4 1/2 hours instead of two and feature faculty from one of the country’s top law firms.

“There’s an awful lot of new developments in employee and benefits law,” said Stuart Newman, a partner in the Atlanta office of Seyfarth Shaw, a national firm headquartered in Chicago with nine offices in the United States and Europe. Of the firm’s more than 700 lawyers, half are in the labor and employment area, Newman said.
