Many in the workers’ compensation arena, including practitioners, adjusters and employers, may be unaware that the regulations governing vocational interviews have changed. Even those who are aware that new regulations have been issued may only possess a vague understanding of how the regulatory changes impact the practice.

However, effective June 23, handling cases as if the old regulations are still in place could prove fatal to cases involving vocational interviews.
