A Port St. Lucie, Fla., neurologist is emulating movie actor Michael Douglas by suing a Boca Raton, Fla., company that he says tricked him into paying almost $20,000 to underwrite a purported educational program about neurology.

On Monday, Dr. Francis X. Conidi filed a contract suit against Paradigm Media in Palm Beach, Fla., Circuit Court, demanding $19,900 he says he paid Paradigm in 2004. Conidi argues that the contract between him and Paradigm is null and void because Paradigm’s promises to him were false.
