A former senior sales and marketing executive at LexisNexis Risk and Information Analytics Group has agreed to leave his current post as president and chief executive of a competitor as part of a settlement in a federal breach of contract suit against him.

Last month, Boca Raton, Fla.-based LexisNexis Risk sued Paul Colangelo in U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach. The suit claimed he violated his confidentiality and noncompete agreements with LexisNexis when he went to work for LocatePLUS Holdings Corp., a competing Beverly, Mass.-based provider of online investigative products to law enforcement and businesses.
