When Frank H. Finch Jr. graduated from Harvard Law School in 1959, many of his classmates bolted for glamorous jobs on Wall Street. Finch, on the other hand, nestled into an associate’s position at relatively tiny Howd & Lavieri in Winsted, Conn.
In contrast to the highly mobile nature of today’s legal profession, Finch still happily practices there nearly a half century later.
