Pedro A. Ramos and Nelson A. Diaz had just missed out on working together a few years ago, and it's happening again. Ramos was selected by Philadelphia Mayor John F. Street to replace Diaz as the city solicitor in 2004. Diaz had announced his resignation and was leaving for his old firm, Blank Rome. On Tuesday, Diaz announced that he was leaving Blank Rome for Cozen O'Connor, and Ramos announced that he was stepping down from his role as managing director of Philadelphia and heading to Blank Rome.
