An Indiana man has been sentenced to more than two years in federal prison for selling counterfeit copies of expensive manufacturing software on eBay. Courtney Smith also was fined $2,000, ordered to pay $5,200 in restitution and sentenced to two years of supervised release after his 27-month prison sentence ends. Prosecutors said Smith admitted copying industrial process software made by Wisconsin-based Rockwell Automation Inc., and faked Rockwell labels for the software.
