It's been a quick rise for Laura Spiegelman, who last week, at the age of 32, made partner at Morrison & Foerster. In the past Spiegelman has done research for biotech companies and worked in house at a company that developed therapies to fight cancer. Infused by that experience, her current practice focuses on licensing and corporate partnering for life sciences and biotech companies. "Without this part of this life cycle I think there would be a lot of research that wouldn't get done," she says.
