In the wake of fresh news reports about the case, law enforcement officials in Broward County, Fla., say they’re considering whether to reinvestigate the theory that the late serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer abducted and murdered 6-year-old Adam Walsh in Hollywood, Fla., in 1981.

Hollywood police Capt. Tony Rode and a spokesman for Broward County State Attorney Michael Satz said their agencies will re-examine witness interviews and, if anything new develops, will investigate further.
