It could be said that Reed Smith’s New Year’s resolution was to build stronger relationships. In the past few weeks the firm has changed its slogan to “Reed Smith: the business of relationships,” hired someone to handle general counsel relations and added a new marketing group to focus on better understanding of client businesses.
Attempting to build relationships isn’t a new concept to the firm, however.
