Rosemarie Williams, a judge whose off-the-bench conduct prompted the New Jersey Supreme Court to discipline her twice, has announced she won’t seek reappointment when her term expires in March.
Williams, a civil judge in Middlesex County, issued a statement Monday saying she does not want to endure the negative publicity that would accompany the reappointment process.
