Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Tripp Scott has announced a merger with four-lawyer Duke, Mullin & Galloway. The combined firm will consist of 45 lawyers and operate under the Tripp Scott name out of that firm's headquarters. "It just became difficult for us to be all things to all people and to service our existing clients at this size," says Duke Mullin founding partner John Mullin. Tripp Scott served as the GOP's post-election legal headquarters in the 2000 presidential election recount battle.
