Jackson Lewis, which focuses exclusively on workplace law, has opened an office in Portland, Ore., led by Scott Oborne, formerly of the San Francisco office. The firm was attracted to Portland because of the movement of Silicon Valley tech companies to the Pacific Northwest -- and the related boom in litigation. The new office is Jackson Lewis' 25th, and the firm's managing partner says he anticipates two to four more offices before long.
