Merger talks between Bryan Cave and Squire, Sanders & Dempsey have ended, representatives for the two megafirms confirmed late Wednesday afternoon.
In similar-sounding statements, a spokesman for Bryan Cave and a spokeswoman for Squire Sanders said that the two companies had been discussing a merger, but that those discussions are now over. Both firms were tight-lipped, declining to elaborate on the reason.
