Nestl�'s attempt to recover the more than $6 million that an employee allegedly embezzled from the company has hit a roadblock in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. The U.S. branch of the food-and-beverage giant had filed suit against the two banks supposedly used by the employee in carrying out the scheme. The company claimed that Wachovia and First Premier Bank had been negligent in not recognizing that something was wrong with all 386 of the official Nestl� checks allegedly used in the embezzlement.
