As it reaches its ninth anniversary, Greenberg Traurig's Philadelphia office has expanded its size and practice areas through acquisitions from other large firms and local relationships. Although the Philadelphia market may not be seen as one of the country's financial centers, Greenberg Traurig managing partner Michael Lehr says that office can still be profitable due to its lower overhead and an ability to charge higher rates than most local firms because of work that is more national in scope.
