Copyright attorney Joseph M. Beck encourages undergraduate students in his class at Emory to put aside thoughts of law school and consider journalism. Don't get him wrong, he loves his job -- but if he hadn't studied law, he'd be a journalist, saying, "Journalists really make a difference." He supports both free speech and strong copyright protections, using his own cases -- including one involving Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech -- to illustrate the issues.
